Pastor Zhan Gang was detained in a hotel by Heilongjiang Police on March 6th while visiting Pastor Sun Wenxian who had been beaten recently. We had interviewed him on 2012 about the truth of the Three-self church system. He pointed out that the essence of the system is to put all churches in China under the control of the government.
